Rankin2Casey Rankin joined Andrews & Price as an associate attorney in 2021. His practice focuses on the representation of school districts. Prior to joining Andrews & Price, Casey worked as an in-house attorney for a large law firm, where his duties focused on analyzing the firm’s potential new clients and matters for conflicts of interest; drafting, reviewing and approving engagement letters and conflict waiver agreements; and ensuring that all incoming representations were compliant with the Rules of Professional Conduct. Casey also has litigation experience, having practiced in both the civil and criminal courts of Pennsylvania, including two years an Allegheny County assistant public defender.

Casey graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 2016, he received his Juris Doctorate from the Duquesne University School of Law. As a law student, Casey was recognized with the law school’s Pro Bono Service Honors Certificate based on his service as a certified legal intern representing indigent inmates in the Federal Litigation Clinic during his third year. In connection with his participation in the Federal Litigation Clinic, Casey argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Casey has been admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania since 2016.
