John HeadshotJohn Hosa joined Andrews & Price as an associate in 2020 and concentrates his practice in property tax law.  John has extensive experience with assessment appeals of residential, commercial, and industrial properties in Allegheny County as well as surrounding counties, and he regularly appears before appeals boards and in courts of common pleas on behalf of his clients.  He has experience with a variety of property tax exemption issues.  In addition, John’s practice includes the collection of delinquent property taxes.

Prior to joining Andrews & Price, John held clerkships with the Honorable Valarie S. Costanzo of the Washington County Court of Common Pleas and the Honorable John J. Trucilla of the Erie County Court of Common Pleas, where he performed legal research and authored numerous opinions in a variety of civil and criminal cases.

John graduated, cum laude, from Point Park University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and he later attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  During law school, John held internships at several renowned Pittsburgh law firms and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Criminal Procedure.  He earned his Juris Doctor in 2017 and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in the same year.
